Bindu M. E. Tech, which we refer to as “Go to The Spot,” is a methodology that helps improve the accuracy of perception of abstract words and symbols as well as concrete words. Bindu is Sanskrit and means “spot.” Bindu M.E. Tech teaches a reader how to move their Mind’s Eye to The Spot that integrates their sensory input into one point of consciousness.
Essentially, it trains your child how to reduce their frustration and confusion by consciously learning to focus their Mind’s Eye (M.E.) on an imaginary point when they view abstract and concrete words. It is a methodology that has been shown to increase reading accuracy and comprehension.
We call this imaginary point, The Spot. In our game, the player learns to locate The Spot a few inches above the midline of their head.
